TANSI!

The Indigenous Mardi Gras Pavilion is excited to be back for its second year! Riveting performances by Mardi Gras Indians from New Orleans and the young students from Winnipeg's Aboriginal School of Dance will entertain the crowd while also providing a taste of the rich culture and history of the First Nations people. Discover the similarities and differences between the regalia design of Manitoba First Nations and that of the Mardi Gras Indians from Louisiana. Round out your experience by trying our delicious Indian Tacos, Jambalaya, fry bread and a very berry dessert called Wojapi.

Please note: Show times may differ from printed Travel Guide. All show times posted online are current.
